We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to help maintain our family home on a weekly basis. This is a part-time, live-out housekeeper position in North Vancouver, near Delbrook Rec Centre, with a preferred start date of immediately. The schedule is 4 hours per week on a consistent weekday morning during school hours. We are flexible between Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, but we would like to keep the same day each week once agreed. One of us will usually be home to answer questions and to let you in and lock up afterward. Our home is approximately 3, 500 square feet and includes 3 indoor cats, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working around pets. Main duties include: - Vacuuming throughout the home - Washing floors - Cleaning bathrooms - Cleaning and tidying the kitchen - Dusting surfaces, lights, and counters - Wiping counters, door handles, and other high-touch surfaces - Removing pet fur from couches and furniture - Sweeping the front and back patios - Cleaning the inside of the home and immediate external areas - Cleaning the outside of kitchen appliances such as the oven, fridge, and dishwasher Additional tasks, if time permits or as we establish a routine, may include: - Changing bed linens - Cleaning inside the refrigerator - Cleaning cupboards, pantry, and other occasional housekeeping tasks as needed We are looking for someone who is: - Reliable and punctual - Thorough and attentive to detail - Trustworthy and respectful of our family home - Comfortable around indoor cats - Able to communicate clearly if scheduling changes arise - Willing to postpone visits if sick - Flexible if a scheduled cleaning needs to be skipped when our family is away Compensation will be a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
