We're looking for an energetic, patient, and dependable nanny to care for two girls, ages 3.5 and 11, from Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24. The 11-year-old is gifted, has already completed Grade 11 academically, and is largely independent. Care will primarily focus on the 3.5-year-old. One child is high-energy and has ADHD, so experience supporting children with ADHD is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include: * Providing attentive, active, and engaging care * Planning age-appropriate activities and maintaining a positive routine * Supporting reading practice and building reading confidence * Incorporating simple educational activities using materials we provide * Preparing basic meals and snacks * Handling light child-related tidying The nanny may also be asked to travel with the family to the Nanaimo area from Thursday, September 24 through Friday or Saturday, September 25-26. Availability for this trip is strongly preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is warm, calm, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable keeping up with energetic children.
