The VP External is responsible for contacting and securing professional HR speakers through several means of communication.
Time Commitment
Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year (Up to 12 hrs/week during busy times)
Term of Employment
September 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP Finance to help DiscoveHR secure
impactful sponsors, partners, delegates & speakers for events in a timely manner
- Create DiscoveHR’s sponsorship package in the summer of 2026
- Prepare and pitch DiscoveHR to potential sponsors to secure funding
- Oversee the execution & maintenance of all external corporate
partnerships and sponsorships
- Actively seek and contact impactful HR professionals for events
- Attend weekly meetings and assist with other club initiatives as
needed
Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing high-quality presentations
- Be comfortable with interacting in a skilled manner through
phone, email, and in-person
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Prior corporate relations or external experiences are an asset
