The VP Internal works with the events portfolio to oversee the logistical itinerary behind each event.
Time Commitment
Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year (Up to 12 hrs/week during busy times)
Term of Employment
September 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate and work closely with the events portfolio to organize
events
- Prepare and provide logistical itineraries for all events and meetings
- Book rooms for events, initiate event setup and takedown, and oversee
equipment rentals, and seek catering for events
- Ensure that event venues and amenities are adequately equipped
with appropriate equipment & technology
- Create and send out weekly newsletters informing members about
upcoming events and other relevant news and information
- Create run sheets for each event
- Attend weekly meetings and assist with other club initiatives as
needed
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and resourceful
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Can think flexibly and have outstanding problem-solving skills
- Prior event planning and/or logistical experiences are an asset
