Support community needs as a Warehouse Operations Laborer with the Leduc & District Food Bank. This role involves vital responsibilities in managing inventory and distribution effectively. We are in search of a dedicated Warehouse Operations Laborer to join our vibrant team.
This multifaceted position encompasses building hampers, loading and unloading donations, and conducting inventory counts. You’ll engage in a work workplace that prioritizes safety and organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and prepare hampers for clients daily
- Manage incoming and outgoing stock accurately
- Sort and shelve inventory based on FIFO
- Maintain a compliant and clean work area
- Assist with deliveries using Food Bank vehicles Requirements:
- Familiarity with food handling in a regulated setting is a plus
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for hours
- Forklift credentials are advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
