Job Overview

Excellent opportunity within the financial services industry. We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Wealth Advisor to join our Private Wealth Management team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with clients to develop personalized financial strategies that align with their goals, ensuring they maximize their wealth potential.

Looking for a results oriented financial services professional who is interested in a long-term opportunity with a leading Private Wealth Management practice located in Winnipeg.

Individual must be well versed in financial planning and passionate about helping clients seek positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Building and deepening relationships with clients either independently or along with the Financial Consultant
- Receiving client inquiries on behalf of the Advisor and determining appropriate course of action.
- Proactively resolving client issues, concerns and requests
- Maintaining updated client files and database
- Keeping track of client life events and changes
- Conduct client conversations to understand financial goals and needs
- Identify wealth, investment, retirement, life insurance and other financial planning opportunities and formulate recommendations
- Prepare/update financial plans/proposals
- Provide financial education and explain available insurance and financial solutions
- Prepare and complete client applications and other required documentation.
- Work in planning software to create and update tailored financial plans
- Complete risk management assessments, and work with our various insurance carriers to provide the best solution for our clients




- Complete insurance applications and follow ups
- Generate new business opportunities through relationships with current prospects, clients and Centers of Influence
- Leverage existing client base to develop HNW referral opportunities
- Following up on new business opportunities
- Completing trades and other required account transactions
- Maintain strong documentation and follow compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching and professional development
- Represent our team professionally in client meetings, community conversations, and business development activity

The appropriate candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Preferred to have CFP designation or working towards it
- CIRO-MFD license and Insurance Life License Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Knowledge of LPP/Conquest software an asset
- Knowledge of Salesforce / transact an asset
- Customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients both on the phone and face to-face.

- Confident initiating conversations and comfortable asking for business when appropriate

Compensation: Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.

Pay: $100,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
