Become an Emergency Medical Technician at the Whitewood Community Health Centre. This full-time role focuses on providing Advanced Life Support to patients in crisis. As an EMT, you will respond to both urgent and non-urgent calls, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained during assessments and treatments.
You will work 12-hour shifts that include diverse hours, requiring flexibility and responsiveness. A valid Class 4 driver’s license and an International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) are necessary qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Advanced Life Support to patients in emergency situations
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine treatment needs
- Follow Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and protocols diligently
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
- Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities Requirements:
- ITLS Certificate is mandatory
- Class 4 driver's license required
- Registration with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Successful completion of the Pre-Hospital Care Program at PCP Level
- HSAS member preference Utilize your medical training to support the health and safety of the Whitewood community effectively.
