Become an Emergency Medical Technician at the Whitewood Community Health Centre. This full time role focuses on providing Advanced Life Support to patients in crisis. As an EMT, you will respond to both urgent and non-urgent calls, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained during assessments and treatments.
You will work 12-hour shifts that include varied hours, requiring flexibility and responsiveness. A valid Class 4 driver’s license and an International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) are necessary qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Advanced Life Support to patients in emergency situations
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine treatment needs
- Follow Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and protocols diligently
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
- Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities Requirements:
- ITLS Certificate is mandatory
- Class 4 driver's license required
- Registration with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Successful completion of the Pre-Hospital Care Program at PCP Level
- HSAS member preference Utilize your medical training to support the health and safety of the Whitewood community effectively.
