This position is full-time and operates in-person, set within the Genetics Program at Shared Health. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Genetics or Genetic Counselling, alongside expertise in communication and interpersonal skills. Your key responsibilities will include patient counselling, administrative tasks, and pivotal genetic education, all while engaging in research and ongoing professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide comprehensive genetic counselling and support • Manage patient follow-ups and assessments • Conduct assessments for genetic risks and conditions • Facilitate genetic education sessions for patients • Participate in research and professional development activities

Requirements: • Master’s degree in Genetics or Genetic Counselling required • Certification with ABGC or CAGC necessary • Previous experience in a medical environment preferred • Indigenous language skills and cultural knowledge valued • Solid organizational skills and commitment to education
