Position Overview

Reporting to the Parts & Warehouse Manager, the Yard Associate is the yard gatekeeper and organizer within the Parts & Warehouse department.The Yard Associate is focused on the organization, safety and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods outside the warehouse, ensure items have a specified “home”, are easily and safely accessible and that all delivery/loading areas and driveways are clear.

Responsibilities - What you’ll be doing

Organize and maintain the yard

Keep yard accessible for trucks and equipment to come and go

Keep yard clean from garbage, dirt and snow at all times

Stage product for new PDIs for easy accessibility

Coordinate all waste pickups (garbage, wood, steel, cardboard, batteries, tires)

Assist Service Advisers with moving equipment at check-in/check-out

Communicate with customer’s professionally and respectfully

Assist in warehouse when needed

Back up to Warehouse Associate for loading/unloading

Back up to the Service Technician Assistant as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications - What you need to bring

Excellent organizational skills

Efficient and accurate

Cleanliness oriented

Team player

Reliable and trustworthy

Diligent attention to safety

Forklift (and reach truck) certification

Ability to lift 70lbs minimum

2 years min.

experience driving heavy equipment A excellent verbal and written communicator

Ability to work outside in cold and hot weather

Proven computer skills are preferred (Microsoft Office, Windows)

Must be a positive team player with a professional, positive,



high energy, can-do attitude
