- Secure youth and staff safety in a custodial workplace
- Cultivate supportive relationships with youth in custody
- Support a trauma-informed approach to address youth needs
- Collaborate with various community partners for effective service
- Assist youth in developing better decision-making skills Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of experience in related work
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license mandatory
- Must be a Canadian resident or Permanent Resident
- Ability to complete security screening and medical assessment Contribute to youth development and public safety as a Youth Correctional Officer in Burnaby.
