About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their Executive Leadership Team. The COO will be the senior executive responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership, with a primary focus on administration, execution of the strategic plan, and school operations.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of the organization's mission, strategic objectives, and operational activities. The successful candidate will be a key partner in developing and implementing organizational strategy, leading the execution of strategic priorities, and supporting the introduction of regulatory standards of practice.

The COO will also be involved in operations management, government and stakeholder relations, program planning,



fiscal awareness, and fund development, as well as overseeing facilities, technology, and risk management.

Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being an asset. A minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive senior leadership experience, particularly in the non-profit, charitable, education, healthcare, social services, or public sector, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operational leadership, organizational transformation, and change management, as well as experience working with Boards of Directors. Robust communication, stakeholder management, and partnership-building abilities are essential, as is the capacity to lead a performance-oriented culture and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The COO will be expected to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.
