We are looking for a friendly and engaging tutor for our son, who is currently in Senior Kindergarten (SK, Not French immersion). For English, he already knows basic phonics, and we would like to help him gradually move into reading through books, games, and age-appropriate activities. For French, our goal is to give him some early exposure to French sounds and pronunciation while he is still young. We are not looking for formal French lessons. Ideally, French would be introduced naturally and briefly through play, songs, stories, or straightforward conversation. Since our main goal with French is early exposure to its sounds and pronunciation, we would prefer someone with strong, natural French pronunciation.
We are looking for someone who can come to our home once or twice a week for about one hour per session, depending on the curriculum and what works best for the tutor and our son. A little background: Mom is fluent in English and holds a B1 French language certificate, so we are happy to discuss and support the learning approach at home. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children and can make language learning fun and natural. Please send me a message if you are interested or know someone who might be a good fit!
