Burke is a quick paced, growing Alberta Printing & Signage Company and we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, reliable person to join our growing team.

We are now looking to add an additional Welder/Fabricator to our signage division that will bring growth to our company. Our signs are custom made to meet our clients requirements resulting in unique challenges and creative solutions.

Job Description:
Reporting to the fabrication manager, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of various signs and sign support structures. Approximately 70% of work will utilize aluminum and the remaining 30% steel.

Job duties will include:

- Review project plans to confirm materials supplied to specifications
- Sheer and punch aluminum and steel sheet and tube to size
- Weld signs and sign support structures
- Prepare welded pieces for paint
- Assist with assembly of completed signs onto structures
- Complete and follow all company and safety processes and procedures




- Assist as needed in other areas of production

Qualifications and Skills:

- Journeyman welder
- Must be able to read plans and schematics
- Experience welding steel and aluminum
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Able to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment
- Experience in the sign industry is an asset
- Willingness to work overtime and potential split shift work

License Requirements:

- Journeyman Welder is an asset
- First Aid Certification an Asset
- Fork Lift Certification an Asset

Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or signage required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
