Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and forklift equipment when necessary
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts, delivery logs, and customer signatures
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly




- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee optimal performance and safety
- Assist in warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience

Qualifications

- Valid license: Hold a valid provincial driver's license (like an Ontario G license) with a clean driving record.
- Age minimum: Be at least 21years old, depending on the specific Delivery Service Partner (DSP) policy.
- Physical stamina: Ability to get in and out of a van frequently and lift heavy boxes throughout a shift.
- Smartphone: Use a mobile device for scanning packages and following route maps.
