The Supervisr, Senirs Services is respnsible fr the leadership, administratin, evaluatin, and cntinuus imprvement f Senirs Services prgrams and the delivery f client-centered services. The psitin versees prgram planning, implementatin, mnitring, and evaluatin t ensure services align with agency pririties, funder requirements, and cmmunity needs.

The Supervisr is respnsible fr the effective allcatin f financial and human resurces, including budget management, staff supervisin, vlunteer engagement, and daily prgram peratins. This psitin versees a variety f prgrams that supprt senirs' independence, scial cnnectedness, well-being, and cmmunity participatin, with a fcus n prviding high-quality, respnsive services.

Yur Rle:

Archway’s Supervisr, Senirs Services with the Senirs Services Prgrams cntributes by:

- Prviding supprt, leadership, directin, and supervisin t staff in the Senirs Services Prgrams, using a variety f techniques including caching, training, skill develpment, discipline, and attendance management.

- Supprting staff in verseeing a large base f vlunteers in cmpliance with agency standards, plicies and prcedure.

- Organizing, crdinating, and verseeing the daily peratins f Senirs Services in accrdance with Archway Cmmunity Services plicy and funder guidelines.

- Participating in the develpment and implementatin f gals, bjectives, plicies and pririties t meet the needs f senirs in the cmmunity.

- Reprting prgram statistics and perfrmance t the agency, funders, and required partner grups.

- Identifying pprtunities fr imprving service delivery methds and prcedures, utilizing feedback frm clients, prgram crdinatrs and cmmunity partners.

- Cllabrating with internal partners t increase access t services (e.g. elder abuse, affrdable husing fr senirs, self-neglect, transprtatin, lneliness and islatin).

- Develping engagements with healthcare and ther senirs serving rganizatins.

- Advising n tpics such as ageism, elder abuse, and neglect.

- Managing and verseeing expenditures within the existing budget allwance, ensuring fiscal respnsibility and accuntability in cmpliance with cntracts and agreements.

- Mnitring Incme and Financial Statements and General Ledgers n an nging basis ensuring prgram perfrmance is cnsistent with budgeted expectatins, taking crrective actins where necessary.

- Cnsulting and cllabrating with the Manager t prepare, submit,



and administer prgram grant applicatins.

Getting an Interview – yu will be cnsidered if yu have:

- A Diplma r bachelr’s degree in Scial Services r a related field, r an acceptable cmbinatin f educatin, training and experience.

- Supervisry experience.

- Experience wrking with budgets.

- Prfessinal experience in the planning, develpment, and/r administratin f prgrams r services (fr the elderly preferred).

- Direct prgram delivery experience.

- A valid BC Drivers’ License and a satisfactry Drivers’ Abstract.

- Knwledge f issues facing senirs, lder adults and thse individuals wh have been traditinally marginalized.

- Knwledge f senirs serving prgrams and supprt services that wuld be beneficial in mitigating cmmn challenges assciated with aging.

- Strng supervisry skills including caching, mentring, delegating and facilitatin skills.

- Strng written, verbal, and active listening skills; able t cmmunicate effectively and respectfully with peple frm a variety f backgrunds and with a variety f abilities.

- Well-develped budgeting skills, able t create and manage multiple prgram budgets efficiently.

- Ability t identify, and develp funding surces as well as crdinate the develpment,



writing and submissin f grant prpsals.

- Well-develped knwledge and skill regarding case management principles including gal setting, creating timelines, actin planning, prgress measuring, and prgram discharge.

- Strng Micrsft Office 365 skills t create reprts, budgets, presentatins, and cmmunicate with staff and clleagues.

- Gd facilitatin skills t present infrmatin t a variety f audiences in a clear, cncise, and effective way, bth rally and in writing.

- Well-develped crisis de-escalatin, dispute reslutin, and prblem-slving skills.

- Ability t manage interruptins and effectively switch tasks.

- Well-develped skills in managing multiple prjects and respnsibilities and priritize cmpeting tasks.

- The use f a persnal, reliable vehicle fr prgram-related driving which can be insured accrding t Archway’s transprtatin plicy.
