AVIS Cleaners Ltd. is a family-owned commercial cleaning company serving businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. We keep offices, medical, and industrial facilities clean, safe, and presentable — and we treat our crew like people, not numbers. What you'll do
As a Cleaning Crew Member you'll travel to client sites and complete cleaning tasks to a consistent, high standard. Day to day, that means:

- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, and operating floor-scrubbing equipment
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces — desks, tables, counters, and shelves
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms: toilets, urinals, sinks, and mirrors
- Restocking soap, paper towel, and toilet paper
- Disinfecting high-touch points — door handles, light switches, elevator buttons
- Spot-cleaning walls and doors
- Emptying trash and replacing liners throughout the site
- Following each client's checklist and flagging anything that needs attention

What we're looking for

- A sharp eye for detail — you notice the spot everyone else walks past




- Reliability and strong time management — you show up and you finish the job
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout a shift
- Transparent, respectful communication with clients and teammates

Requirements

- A valid Ontario driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (you'll drive to client sites)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on client needs
- Comfortable passing a reference and background check (some of our sites require it)
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required — training is provided
