SKILLS

· Help plan, implement & assess therapeutic recreational programs & activities of daily living

· Ability to effectively coordinate, adapt and engage participants in a small group setting

· Creative, enthusiastic team member; able to multi-task & manage time appropriately

· Willingness to connect & support the unique needs of older adults living with dementia

QUALIFICATIONS

· Grade 12 Education or equivalent

· Certification as an Activity Director, Resident Attendant, Personal Support Worker

· Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approaches, U First! or person centered care training

· Demonstrated initiative, solid organizational abilities, clear communicator, team player

· Experience/education in leadership, teaching, group facilitation, program planning

· Physically able to preform tasks/duties related to position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.14 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week

Work Location: In person
