- Perform professional massage therapy sessions using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage to meet client needs

- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health standards
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques,
and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills
Qualifications
- Valid registration or licensure as a Massage Therapist with the relevant regulatory body in your region
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and anatomy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training provided for new graduates
