At Naseem Jewellers We are seeking a energetic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and supporting sales initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a fast-paced environment while engaging with diverse customers. Multilingual abilities and technical knowledge are highly valued to serve our broad customer base effectively.
Duties
- Update and track inventory in the system
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Assist with jewelry designs and gold purity, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all customer needs are met promptly during busy periods.
- Follow phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
- Must have clean criminal record, and police background check will be required.
Experience
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of technology sales, product demos, or merchandising is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g., English and another language) are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash registers
- Solid communication skills, organizational ability, and time management are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and upselling techniques will be advantageous
