Gunther Construction has been in the construction industry for over 50 years. We specialize in foundations and concrete projects. Currently, we are looking for a Industrial Civil QC Inspector.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to verify adherence to approved plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Collect and analyze data related to construction quality, progress, and compliance to identify potential issues early.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor ongoing work, document findings through detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Review construction drawings and schematics to ensure proper implementation during the building process.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve quality-related issues swiftly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective measures taken.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to enhance overall project performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction inspection or quality control
- Robust understanding of construction processes, blueprints reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to collect relevant data and interpret findings accurately.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and identify deviations from specifications or standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and documenting inspection results clearly.
- Clean drivers abstract and must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Pay: Up to $56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
