Duties

- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care.
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment, maintaining consistent quality.
- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Support the food service team by assembling orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations, and storage spaces.
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices to uphold health regulations.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during busy hours.

Requirements

- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience within the food industry is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- fresh Pizza cooking: 3 years (preferred)

Language:

- English (preferred)
