Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 310T truck Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy trucks, trailers and farm equipment.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and welding techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of mechanical components during repairs or upgrades
- Conduct safety inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Experience in operating heavy equipment
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or installations
- Experience working with farm and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance procedures
