· As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Territory Manager to represent UCP and support Canadian Tire stores throughout British Columbia.

About the Role

· The Territory Manager supports Canadian Tire stores across the province of British Columbia and must be based in the Vancouver area.

· In this field-based role, you will be responsible for training store teams, providing product and customer support, maintaining strong in-store merchandising, and building relationships with store personnel, while actively contributing to sales growth.

· Regular travel throughout British Columbia is an important part of the position.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Canadian Tire store management and employees throughout the assigned territory.
- Visit assigned stores regularly across British Columbia.
- Provide product training and onboarding support to new store employees.
- Deliver training on recent, updated, and existing products.
- Assist customers on the sales floor and at the paint counter while coaching and educating store staff to strengthen product knowledge and support sales.
- Respond to product-related questions and concerns from stores.
- Troubleshoot in-store product issues and coordinate appropriate solutions when required.
- Provide technical product information and assistance to store staff and customers as needed.
- Ensure adequate product availability and identify potential inventory or stocking issues.
- Ensure products, displays, and labels are properly maintained, clearly identified, and in good condition.




- Support the execution of promotional activities based on the company’s promotional calendar and recommendations.
- Support Customer Service with consumer product-related inquiries when required.
- Provide weekly store visit updates and activity reports through HubSpot.
- Participate in biweekly calls with the National Account Manager.
- Communicate relevant store feedback, sales opportunities, and issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Represent UCP professionally and contribute to maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners.

Required Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to train, coach, and transfer product knowledge to store teams.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and store visits.
- Comfortable working in a field-based position with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Willing and able to travel regularly throughout British Columbia.
- Must reside in the Vancouver area.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Comfortable using digital tools and CRM platforms for reporting and territory management.
- Experience in sales, merchandising, retail support, customer service, or territory management is an asset.
- Experience in the paint, coatings, home improvement, hardware, or building materials industry is considered an asset.

- Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000, based on experience.

Territory & Travel

· This position covers Canadian Tire stores throughout British Columbia. The successful candidate must be based in the Vancouver area and be available for regular travel throughout the province.

· Travel frequency will vary depending on store schedules, business needs, training requirements, and promotional activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
