Job description

JD&C; Services Ltd. is currently expanding our team of Owner Operators for year-round work. JD&C; Services Ltd. is based in Hinton, AB with satellite operations in Edson & Rocky Mountain House. The Owner Operator position will primarily work in the Edson, Drayton Valley, Rocky Mountain House, and Hinton areas.

Owner Operators with the following equipment:

Equipment Requirements: must have own tractor - trailer that meets the following:

- 8-axle truck configuration (TC407 spec.);
- Sleeper (no Day Cabs);
- Pump must be insulated and heated to prevent freezing in the winter;
- Hight level shut down must be installed on trailer;

Job Responsibilities:

- Safely transport various oilfield fluids (fresh water, flow back, invert, base oil, produced water, etc.);
- Follow all HSE policies, procedures, and practices;
- Have equipment maintained to ensure it is in good mechanical condition at all times;
- Promote a safe work workplace;
- Maintain valid health and safety certificates;
- Follow detailed instructions;
- Complete all required paperwork (FLHAs, tickets, incident/near miss reports, etc.);
- Work independently and/or in a team setting;
- Must be able to do shift work (days and nights) and work in all weather conditions

Applicant Requirements:

- A Valid Canadian Class 1 Driver’s License;




- Be able to pass post offer drug and alcohol screening;
- Good communication skills;
- Read, write and communicate in English;
- Ensure equipment is fully compliant including: registration and insurance, CVIP, tank testing and Safety Fitness Certificate at all times;
- The following valid oilfield certificates – Intermediate 1st Aid, H2S Alive and Common Safety Orientation (Energy Safety Canada);
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is an asset;
- Canadian TDG Experience;
- Canadian Off Road / bush road experience;
- Fluid hauling or other dynamic load experience

JD&C; Services has ongoing work through break-up and offers corporate fuel pricing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $450,000.00-$550,000.00 per year
