About the Role
Raymond EMC is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects within our Project Management Office.
This is a senior project delivery and integration role responsible for turning approved priorities into structured project plans, integrated schedules, clear reporting, and measurable outcomes. You will coordinate risks, dependencies, resources, commitments, and handoffs across Sales, Engineering and Design, Procurement, Production, Finance, Installation, and project closeout.
The successful candidate will bring structure to complex initiatives, manage multiple concurrent priorities, and contribute to improved project profitability, delivery reliability, resource utilization, customer satisfaction, and overall project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects from intake through closeout, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communication, and approved commitments.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and handoffs, ensuring responsibilities, timing, approvals, and expectations are clear.
- Manage project risks, issues, changes, actions, and decisions, escalating unresolved constraints through the PMO Lead.
- Provide clear reporting on project status, risks, customer impact, resource demand, margin considerations, and required decisions.
- Support PMO-led capacity planning, master scheduling, executive reviews, ERP readiness, and process improvements.
- Mentor PMO team members and lead lessons learned, project closeout, and improvement activities.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in project management, business administration, engineering, operations, construction management,
or a related field.
- Minimum seven years of progressive project management experience.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder, cross-functional, or technically oriented projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with accountability for budgets, schedules, risks, change control, customer communication, and delivery outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, risk and issue management, resource forecasting, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional contributors without direct authority.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- PMP certification is preferred. Equivalent education, certification, and demonstrated senior-level experience will be considered.
Security Clearance Requirement
This position requires eligibility for a Government of Canada Level II Secret security clearance.
Candidates must be prepared to provide a complete 10-year history covering residency, employment, and education, and consent to the required criminal, credit, and security checks. Limited Canadian residency history or significant time spent outside Canada may result in longer processing timelines and could affect suitability for the position.
Nice to Have
- Experience in government, defence, secure infrastructure, construction, installation, service, or technically complex manufacturing.
- ERP implementation or business process improvement experience.
- Experience with In-Service Support, warranty, maintenance, commissioning, or lifecycle service obligations.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
What We Offer
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- RRSP matching program
- Paid vacation and sick leave
- Flexible start and end times
- Training and career-development opportunities
- Employee Assistance Program
- Regular performance feedback and development discussions
- On-site gym and café
- Convenient access to public transit and nearby amenities
- Team-building events and an inclusive workplace culture
