Cuttings Edge Energy is an equipment rental company, specializing in fluid recovery & drill cuttings management services for Western Canada.

We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Shop/Field Equipment Maintenance/Labor.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

- Performing equipment maintenance, repair, and inspections at Leduc shop and rig site locations
- Delivery of parts and supplies to rig site locations
- Pick-up of parts and/or supplies from Leduc/Edmonton area vendors
- Assisting and working in tandem with field site operations personnel
- Shipping/Receiving of equipment and parts at Leduc shop

Required Qualifications:
[Note: Successful candidates should have a comprehensive mechanical background (but are not required to be a certified mechanic to apply); hiring preference is given to years of experience over tickets and certifications.]

- Experience in servicing and repairing excavators, loaders, skid steers, and industrial mud vacuums (electrical adeptness with aforementioned equipment types is also an additional asset, but not required)
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Able to pass company required medical testing (physical and drug testing)
- Reside within 50km of Leduc, AB
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Reliable transportation (to and from Leduc shop); company vehicle is provided for work duties and traveling to rig site locations

- Be adaptable to change (i.e. last minute changes to work plan/sudden equipment failure requiring immediate attention)
- Able to work independently, take initiative and take direction with a positive attitude
- Reliably appear for regularly scheduled work hours as well as scheduled on-call work

Benefits & Supplemental Pay Details:

- Health benefits begin after a 3-month probationary period
- Expense reimbursement of meal costs (when working on rig site locations)
- Company-paid hotel accommodations (when needed) during overnight/extended stays in the field while performing repairs/maintenance

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
