Coextro is a high-speed, Ontario-based telecommunications provider offering Fibre Optic, Cable and DSL Internet, Mobile, TV, and Home Phone services to homes, apartments, and condominiums across Ontario.

We’re focused on providing reliable, affordable telecommunications services and giving customers a competitive alternative to the larger providers.

We are currently looking for an experienced Telecommunications Installation Technician to join our team on a part-time, weekend basis.

Schedule

This is a weekend position, with installation appointments scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week on weekends. Weekly hours may vary depending on the number of scheduled installations and service appointments.

Applicants should have reliable weekend availability and be able to travel to scheduled customer appointments throughout the GTA.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre and copper-based telecommunications services in residential condominium units throughout the GTA
- Installing and terminating fibre optic and Ethernet cabling
- Fishing fibre and Ethernet cables within residential units
- Troubleshooting and resolving service and connectivity issues
- Providing qualified and courteous service to residents




- Positively representing the Coextro brand while working on-site
- Completing other related duties as required

Required Knowledge and Skills

- Experience splicing and terminating fibre optic cables
- Experience terminating Ethernet cables
- Experience fishing fibre and Ethernet cabling
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, professional, and respectful attitude
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in residential environments

What You’ll Need

- Valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience with residential telecommunications installations
- Reliable Saturday and Sunday availability
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week on weekends
- Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the GTA
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
