POSITION SUMMARY
The Bakeshop Supervisor is responsible in overseeing the cookie dough production to ensure adherence to recipes, schedules, and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mixing Process & Quality Control
· Oversee cookie dough mixing with a hands-on approach, ensuring consistency and quality.
· Inspect batch mixtures to verify adherence to customer specifications and quality assurance standards.
Employee Supervision & Training
· Lead and support employees to maintain recipe compliance and meet production schedules.
· Train and mentor team members in mixing techniques and operational procedures.
Production Planning & Preparation
· Review daily production schedules and ensure readiness for bakeshop operations.
· Oversee line setup, ensuring equipment and ingredients are available and prepared.
Operational Oversight & Troubleshooting
· Conduct quality checks to ensure dough specifications are met.
· Identify and resolve inefficiencies or emergency issues in bakeshop operations.
Compliance & Documentation
· Enforce company policies, ensuring adherence to workplace rules and safety regulations.
· Oversee sanitation efforts in coordination with the Sanitation Department.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and food safety protocols.
· Maintain accurate production records and complete daily reports.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
· Coordinate and schedule daily activities of mixing department workers.
· Work closely with production and logistics teams to optimize workflow.
· Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
· Monitor ingredient inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma required
· At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity or role in a manufacturing or production environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Food Safety
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong knowledge of bakeshop equipment and food safety standards.
Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
