Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Orangeville. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to work on both morning and night shifts, contributing to high-quality production processes. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of advanced machinery, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers a energetic environment where your mechanical skills and manufacturing knowledge will directly impact our success.
Duties
- Operate and monitor CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools to produce precise components.
- Set up and adjust machinery such as press brake machines, ensuring correct configurations for each job.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to accurately produce parts.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to inspect parts for quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Assist with welding, assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks as needed to support production flow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including forklift operation when moving materials or finished products within the facility.
Skills
- Proficiency with Fanuc CNC controls and programming is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and related equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for design review or modifications.
- Experience with welding techniques and quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards and machining processes to ensure high-quality output.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
