Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to lead and oversee Underground long hole drilling operations from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage employees, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, maintain strict adherence to schedules, and budgets, and foster a collaborative environment on-site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of production long hole drilling, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of excellence. This position requires 14X14 schedule rotation.

Duties

- Supervise daily mining activities, ensuring work progresses according to engineering plans, proactively aiming to meet daily drilled meter targets.
- Coordinate with Super intendent's, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations
- Monitor site safety protocols diligently, conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing compliance with OSHA regulations
- Oversee quality control processes to guarantee performance meets all specifications and standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions




- Assist in budgeting and cost control efforts by tracking expenditures and managing resources effectively
- Lead employee meetings to communicate updates, safety reminders, and coordinate upcoming tasks

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in the mining industry with a solid understanding of mining processes and workflows preferably 5-10 years experience
- Computer skills and knowledge, proficient in data entry
- Supervisor Common Core
- Ability to travel
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering designs accurately
- Experience in supervising safety protocols and conducting site safety audits
- Train the Trainer considered and assest

Pay: $69.00-$71.00 per hour
