Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Student Services Officer to join our energetic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between students and the college, providing comprehensive support to ensure a smooth and enriching educational journey. Your enthusiasm for student success, combined with excellent communication skills, will help foster a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for students, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on college programs and services
- Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to promote student engagement and participation
- Assist with recruiting efforts by promoting college programs at events and through outreach initiatives
- Support students with registration processes, orientation sessions, and academic advising coordination




- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, feedback, and service activities using college management systems
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify student needs and develop tailored support strategies
- Organize and facilitate student-focused activities that enhance campus community involvement

Skills

- Strong public speaking abilities to confidently engage diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Ellucian or similar student information systems for data management and reporting
- Experience in recruiting or outreach activities to attract prospective students
- Teaching or mentoring skills to effectively communicate complex information clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for supporting student success and fostering an inclusive campus atmosphere

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
