Position Summary

Aburi Hana is currently looking for a reliable, hardworking, and guest-focused Bartender/Server to join our front-of-house team and contribute to an exceptional dining experience! As a Bartender/Server, you will provide attentive and knowledgeable service while preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests while working closely with the bar, kitchen, and front-of-house teams. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who takes pride in hospitality, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in an upscale restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests
- Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, sake, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage offerings
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, beverages, and specials




- Communicate guest requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions to the appropriate team
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout service
- Process guest payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and bar areas
- Prepare garnishes and other beverage ingredients as required
- Restock liquor, wine, sake, beer, glassware, and bar supplies
- Follow responsible alcohol service, food safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Communicate and work effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Support other team members and restaurant operations as needed

Qualifications & Experience

- 2 years of serving and/or bartending experience required
- Previous experience in an upscale, Japanese, or full-service restaurant is considered an asset
- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, sake, and beer is considered an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Solid attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Serving It Right certification is required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
