The Lethbridge Christian School Society owns the building that hosts the Lethbridge Christian School as an alternative school within Lethbridge School Division. We have approximately 200 students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Job description
The position work hours can vary from 5-20 hrs/week. Some general ongoing duties are grass cutting, shrub pruning and weed control. Snow removal and de-icing of entrances, sidewalks and medians, changing lights, ceiling tiles, general plumbing, fixing leaky taps, repairing irrigation pipes, monitoring the property, cleaning eavestroughs, picking up litter, keeping the grounds clean and tidy.
This position is suited for someone that is retired or semi-retired that has a servants heart and is able to work in the back ground, bringing minimal disturbance while classes are in session. The position is suited for someone who has a number of skills to offer.
The successful candidate will be working within a Christian school setting and preference will be given to someone who can whole-heartedly accept the Society's Doctrinal Statement and who is currently an active member of a local church body. It will be necessary for the successful candidate to submit records checks and any other documentation that may be necessary in order to work in a school environment.
