Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent | Milton, ON

We're currently hiring experienced Material Handlers for a full-time opportunity in Milton. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with openings on Day, Afternoon, and Midnight shifts.

Available Shifts

Please indicate your preferred shift when applying:

- Day (AM): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Afternoon (PM): 3:30 PM – 12:00 MN
- Midnight (MN): 11:15 PM – 7:45 AM

Responsibilities:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping operations by:

- Receiving and verifying incoming materials against packing slips
- Picking, packing, wrapping, and loading products accurately
- Moving and putting away inventory using Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Order Picker forklifts
- Preparing shipments with the correct labels, weights, and shipping documentation
- Performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and RF scanner transactions
- Supporting dock operations, truck bay activities, and material flow throughout the facility
- Communicating with warehouse staff, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work setting
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and continuous improvement initiatives

Please note: Forklift operation makes up approximately 30–40% of the role, with the remaining time spent on picking and other warehouse tasks.

Qualifications:





- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Order Picker forklifts
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with narrow aisle racking
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON

Skills & Experience

- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Comfortable performing both forklift and manual material handling duties
- Experience using RF scanners, MS Office 365, and Outlook
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
