Super Printers & Stationery

Canada

Super Printers & Stationery Ltd. is looking for an energetic, outgoing and results-driven Outside Sales & Business Development Representative to actively develop new commercial business throughout the Lower Mainland, with a primary focus on Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Delta and Surrey.

This position is primarily focused on field sales, in-person B2B prospecting, new customer acquisition, and tender/bidding opportunities within the commercial printing and large-format printing industries, while also supporting our growing products such as signage, promotional products, and custom apparel printing, including T-shirts, safety vests, and other branded merchandise.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable getting out into the market, visiting businesses, introducing our company and services, finding decision-makers, developing relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term customers.

Important: This Is Primarily a Field Sales Position

- A significant portion of this position will be spent outside the office actively prospecting for current business, meeting prospective customers, and developing new commercial accounts.
- The Sales Representative will conduct organized B2B cold visits and territory prospecting, actively visiting businesses and organizations within the assigned sales territory.
- The successful candidate must be comfortable approaching businesses directly, professionally introducing Super Printers, connecting with business owners, managers, purchasing personnel, marketing teams, and other decision-makers, identifying potential requirements, and creating sales opportunities from the ground up.
- This is not an inside-sales or order-taking position where the Sales Representative waits primarily for incoming inquiries.

This Is Not a Digital Marketing Position

- Please note that this is not a digital marketing or social media marketing position. Super Printers' digital marketing activities are already managed by other team members.
- The primary responsibility of this position is direct, in-person field sales, B2B prospecting, relationship building, and new customer acquisition.
- However, we value the experience and ideas that a successful Sales Representative can bring to the company. Suggestions for digital campaigns, lead-generation strategies, new markets, partnerships, or other sales and marketing initiatives are always welcome, particularly where they can support field sales efforts and generate additional business opportunities for Super Printers.

Results & Sales Targets

- This is a results- and target-oriented sales position.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work toward agreed sales, prospecting, and new-business development targets.
- Specific targets and performance expectations will be discussed during the interview process, taking into consideration the candidate's relevant industry experience, previous sales background, proposed compensation structure, and salary expectations.

Key Responsibilities Field Sales & In-Person B2B Prospecting

- Proactively generate new business through cold calling, cold emailing, in-person business visits, networking, and other effective prospecting methods, with a clear focus on creating sales opportunities and acquiring new customers
- Plan daily and weekly prospecting routes and identify potential businesses to approach.
- Visit offices, retail businesses, restaurants, warehouses, property-management companies, construction-related businesses and other commercial organizations.
- Professionally introduce Super Printers and promote our commercial printing, large-format printing, and growing range of products and services.
- Identify and connect with business owners, managers, marketing departments, purchasing personnel and other decision-makers.

- Identify and understand prospective customers’ current and upcoming needs for commercial printing, large-format printing, promotional products, custom apparel, signage, and other related services.
- Generate qualified leads through face-to-face prospecting.
- Collect customer/contact information and establish appropriate follow-up actions.
- Leave company information, samples and marketing materials with qualified prospects when appropriate.
- Follow up through additional visits, telephone and email.
- Convert field-generated prospects into quotation opportunities, new orders and long-term customer accounts.
- Develop and manage an assigned geographic sales territory.
- Maintain consistent prospecting activity rather than relying on incoming leads.

Tender & Bidding Opportunities – Additional / Secondary Responsibility

- While the primary focus of this position is outside sales and new business development, the Sales Representative may also assist Super Printers in identifying and pursuing suitable tender, bidding, RFP, RFQ, and contract opportunities.
- Previous tender or procurement experience is an asset, but is not required for this position.
- Responsibilities in this area may include:
