Help Others. Restore Homes. Make a Difference.

Have you ever wanted a career where your work genuinely helps people?

When a home or business experiences a fire, flood, storm, or other unexpected disaster, they need more than a contractor—they need someone they can trust to guide them through the process.

That’s where you come in.

DKI Hi-Tech is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Insurance Restoration team. You’ll take ownership of restoration projects from start to finish, working with homeowners, insurance adjusters, trades, suppliers, and our internal team to bring properties back to their pre-loss condition.

If you're an organized, confident problem-solver who enjoys construction, working with people, and seeing a project come together, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of assigned claims.
- Attend loss sites and assess project requirements, scope, and next steps.
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate emergency services and reconstruction activities as required.
- Manage subcontractors and trades, ensuring work is completed according to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, change orders, and profitability.
- Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor charges.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, photographs, estimates, notes, and communication records.
- Work closely with estimators, technicians, production staff, and management to keep projects moving forward.

- Identify potential issues early and develop practical solutions.
- Manage customer expectations throughout the restoration process and provide consistent updates.
- Coordinate material selections, ordering, deliveries, and site requirements.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, company standards, safety requirements, and insurance requirements.
- Conduct site visits throughout the project to monitor progress and quality.
- Manage deficiencies, final inspections, and project closeout.
- Ensure customers receive a professional experience during what can often be a stressful and unexpected event.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and organized self-starter who can confidently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

You have:

- Previous experience in construction, renovation, restoration, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
- The ability to read and understand scopes of work, estimates, drawings, and project documentation.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.

- Strong attention to detail and financial awareness.
- The ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.
- A calm, professional approach when dealing with customers and challenging situations.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience in insurance restoration, emergency services, or working directly with insurance claims and adjusters is considered a strong asset.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Project Manager understands that restoration is about more than rebuilding a property—it’s about helping people through a difficult situation.

You will be successful in this role if you can:

- Keep projects organized and moving forward.
- Communicate clearly and proactively.
- Build strong relationships with customers and insurance partners.
- Manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- Hold trades and subcontractors accountable.
- Identify problems before they become larger issues.
- Deliver quality workmanship and a positive customer experience.
- Bring projects to completion with minimal surprises.

Why Join Us?

We are proud to be part of an industry that makes a real difference in people's lives. Every loss is different, and every project presents new challenges. Our team works together to take a difficult situation and turn it into a successful restoration.

We offer a skilled, team-oriented setting where your experience, leadership, and ability to get things done are valued.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
