General Production Workers

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Shift: Day shift 8am to 4:30pm

We are currently seeking reliable, safety-focused Production Workers to join our team in Saskatoon. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable performing physical tasks while following established safety procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Production Worker, your responsibilities will include:

The most important job requirements are safety awareness, willing to learn, willing to work and attendance. The position does involve a lot of physical repetitive work (bending, leg lifting) and candidates must be capable of doing this on a daily basis. These are entry level tasks, but candidates need to be mobile.

Responsibilities:

- Repetitive and Dexterous hand movements.
- Standing and Sitting on a rotational basis.
- Stacking bags on racks.
- Putting bags in boxes.
- Strapping boxes.
- Placing boxes on pallets.
- Demonstrated ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSEAs).
- Demonstrated ability to manage all necessary shift paperwork.
- Demonstrated ability in effective problem solving and troubleshooting in verity of situations.
- Ability to communicate with peers, supervisors, and manager particularly in areas of safety, quality and performance.
- Comprehensive ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps/ladders as well as lift up to 50 lbs and preform repetitive tasks.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at all time and continuously upgrade the standard as well as maintaining production statistics.
- Be available to work over time, shift work, holidays and weekends as needed.




- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (Public Transportation spotty at best)

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable climbing stairs and ladders when required
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, as public transportation is limited
- Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator as required
- Comfortable working around hazardous chemicals (training and PPE provided)

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Experience working in a safety-focused industrial environment

Physical Requirements

- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
