Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and dispatching of medical transportation operations, ensuring efficient communication between medical crews, clients, and the patients. This position requires robust organizational skills, proficiency in data entry, and a solid understanding of transportation management systems. Prior Dispatching experience within the medical transportation industry, 911 dispatching, or general livery is required

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule medical transportation requests
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems
- Communicate with drivers regarding their , schedules, and any changes that may arise.
- Use of on line software and GPS
- Maintain accurate records
- Critical thinking, planning and rapid decision making .

Qualifications

- Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is required




- Familiarity with transportation and in particular, medical transportation industry is advantageous.
- Proficient in data entry with a keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data for operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
