Kelowna Homecare Solutions (KHS) is seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide morning care support for a complex care client in a home care setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring the client's comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.

Schedule

- Shift Length: 6-12 hours per day
- Coverage Required: 2-3 days per week
- Part-time opportunities available for Community woundcare

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with morning routines
- Perform and document wound care as directed by the care plan
- Provide ostomy care and monitoring
- Administer medications as required
- Monitor, assess, and document client condition and changes
- Support mobility and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with the care team, physicians, and family members
- Promote client comfort, safety, dignity, and independence
- Follow all KHS policies, procedures, and professional practice standards

Qualifications

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)



registration in British Columbia and in good standing with BCCNM
- Experience with wound care and ostomy care required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Experience in home care, community care, palliative care, or complex care preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Current CPR certification
- Valid BC Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred
