Our busy periodontal practice requires an upbeat and personable Dental hygienist for MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS. Parking, subway, 401. We serve all demographics but mostly adults 40 years of age and up. We operate a busy office with high levels of traffic. Helpful and knowledgeable long term staff on site. Candidates must be experienced, hard working, capable of working fast, motivated, positive interpersonal skills, team players, and sense of humour is a must. You should be calm, reassuring and with a friendly demeanour as well as you must be able to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collect medical and dental histories

2. Charting of dental conditions

3. Taking impressions; take FMS radiographs, 3D CBCT radiographs and panoramic radiographs

4. Sterilization of instruments

5.Oral hygiene instructions

6.



Working with IV sedation with the specialists and ER nurses attending

7. Scaling and root planing/3-6 month recalls
