Chemical Compounder 1
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weigh materials in accordance with product formula.
- Blend ingredients to produce specified products.
- Draw sample material to test for compliance to specifications.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Record date in production logs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum 1+ year experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of chemical compounding.
- Use of computer for reference and data entry.
- Familiarity with hand-held scanners a plus, but not necessary.
Work Workplace/Equipment:
- Chemical plant with pressurized equipment, fumes and odors, hazardous materials.
- Operate forklift, scales, mixers, and tanks.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, some climbing.
- Coordination to operate equipment.
- Ability to lift 20-50 pound containers.
Salary range: $13.00 to $16.00 per hour
