We are currently looking for a Electric Vehicle Technician.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

- Participate in the design of a 100% electric vehicle and in prototype testing and validation activities;
- Perform diesel-to-electric vehicle conversions by installing components according to engineering drawings and specifications while adhering to established safety standards;
- Support the diesel vehicle assembly team, propose process improvements, and assist with electrical work as required;
- Provide technical support at mining sites and deliver training when needed;
- Ensure compliance of assembly drawings and customer-specific configurations;
- Participate in updating electrical drawings and documentation;
- Recommend improvements aimed at reducing assembly time and increasing efficiency;
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices;
- Complete all required reports and documentation;
- Foster a positive team setting through a collaborative and professional attitude.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:





- You hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, and/or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Electromechanics, and/or a recognized training program in electric vehicle technology;
- Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. Equivalent qualifications may be accepted depending on the candidate’s educational background and experience;

- You have solid automotive electromechanical skills;
- You have knowledge of AutoCAD (an asset);
- You have knowledge of electric vehicles (an asset);
- You are bilingual in French and English (an asset);
- You have good abilities to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and electrical wiring and assembly schematics.
