Jim White Auto Service is a **busy, small independent automotive repair shop that has been serving the local community for over 30 years.** We are looking for a licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

We are a general repair shop working on a wide variety of makes and models. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and takes pride in properly diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

## What You'll Be Doing

* General automotive repair and maintenance

* Brake, steering and suspension repairs

* Electrical and electronic diagnosis

* Check engine light, drivability and performance diagnosis

* Starting and charging system diagnosis and repair

* Heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair

* Engine and cooling system repairs

* Tire installation, balancing and repairs as required

* Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance

* Use of scan tools and diagnostic equipment

* Other general automotive repairs as required

## What We're Looking For

* Valid Ontario **310S Automotive Service Technician licence**

* Good mechanical and diagnostic abilities

* Able to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts

* Comfortable using scan tools, electrical testing equipment and service information

* Able to work independently and efficiently

* Good problem-solving skills

* Dependable and punctual

* Takes pride in doing repairs properly

* Able to work well as part of a small team





* Valid driver's licence

We recognize that holding a 310S licence does not necessarily mean every technician has the same level of experience. **Compensation will be based on actual experience, diagnostic ability and the type of work you are comfortable performing independently.**
