OVERVIEW

Projection Moulds Inc. is currently looking for a Full time CNC Programmer that would be responsible setting up, programing, and running our vertical mills.

ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up and pick up on vertical mills and edms using a variety of hand tools including indicators, and Renishaw probe

· Design and build fixturing to cut complex parts

· Set up and Teardown

· Use a custom CAD/ Cam software to program vertiacal milling centers and EDMs

· Use knowledge of cutting programing, tool paths and tools to develop and implement efficient programs

· Verify programs via simulation and test cuts/ burns

· Plan ahead of deadlines to ensure jobs get done on time

· Knowing when to order and request resources to ensure deadlines are met

· Optimizing programs through knowledge of cutting procedures, tooling and toolpaths

· Coordinate with designers and other departments to ensure effective workflows

Quality assurance

· Checking dimensions of parts with manual measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators

· Using manual measurement tools to dial in programs to ensure precision

· Use Cmm and Renishaw to check parts and verify tolerances

QUALIFICATIONS

· Trades School Certification (Tool and Die/Machinist)

Forklift license and or experience driving a forklift

4 years or more of experience as a CNC Programmer

· Proficient in the use of hand tools including micrometers, calipers, indicators and gauges

· Proficient in the use of CAD and CAM software

· Proficient in set up and fixturing





· Proficient in design

You have the ability to:

· Safely lift to 50 lbs

· Accurately measure and inspect cut parts

· Communicate effectively

· Create programs independently
