Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foot Care Nurse RN (Registered Nurse) or RPN (Registered Practical Nurse) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized foot care services to diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with chronic conditions, and those requiring wound management. Your expertise will help improve mobility, prevent complications, and promote overall well-being. Duties

- Conduct comprehensive foot assessments, including evaluating skin integrity, circulation, sensation, and structural abnormalities.
- Provide advanced foot care treatments
- Manage and monitor patients with complex needs, including those with diabetes, dementia, or mobility challenges.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper foot hygiene, injury prevention, and self-care techniques to promote independence.




- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that address pain management and other health concerns.
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately using electronic health record system
- Assist with instrument reprocessing

Qualifications

- Current registration as an RN or RPN with CNO
- Advanced Foot Care course/training
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics and assisted living residents.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Excellent patient care skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
