Sales Representative – British Columbia

Modern Optical Canada is looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow our business across British Columbia.

Modern Optical is a recognized leader in the eyewear industry, offering eye care professionals a diverse portfolio of stylish, affordable, and market-driven eyewear collections.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business, and strengthening relationships with existing customers throughout British Columbia.

You will work directly with opticians, optometrists, optical clinics, and independent retailers to build strong, long-term partnerships while expanding Modern Optical’s presence across the province.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and grow sales throughout British Columbia
- Manage and expand an existing portfolio of customers
- Actively prospect and open recent accounts
- Present eyewear collections and assist customers with product selections
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute an effective territory and travel plan
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Provide exceptional follow-up and customer service
- Attend industry trade shows and events when required
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity

What We’re Looking For

and results-oriented sales professional who enjoys developing a territory and building lasting customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in B2B sales and territory development
- Experience in the optical or eyewear industry is a strong asset
- A demonstrated ability to prospect and develop new business
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A high degree of independence, organization, and accountability
- The ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout British Columbia
- A valid driver’s licence
