Server (Temporary/Casual)

About Our Client

Our client is a well-known event and hospitality venue located in Chatham, ON, known for hosting a wide range of private and corporate events. They are seeking reliable and professional Servers to support upcoming events.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Server :

- Greeting guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Carrying and serving plated meals to guests at their tables
- Clearing plates, cutlery, and glassware between courses
- Assisting with event setup and teardown as needed (e.g., placing linens, glassware, cutlery)
- Communicating guest concerns or special requests to supervisors
- Lifting up to 30lbs
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Server :

- Excellent verbal communication In English
- Previous experience is an asset
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Must adhere to a strict dress code (black dress pants, black button-up shirt with a collar, black dress shoes (no sneakers)

In Return, You Will Receive:

- $17.60/hour
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Opportunity for ongoing work on future event dates
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Support from a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8 AM to 11 PM and weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:





- Event-based schedule and may include weekends depending on bookings
- Days, afternoons and nights
