About Adventure Alley:Adventure Alley is a 6,700-square-foot indoor play space designed for children aged 1 to 12 and their families. In the heart of Toronto, our facility boasts a multi-level playscape, dedicated toddler zones, and versatile rooms for parties, workshops, and events. Founded by families for families, we're more than just a play area – we're a community hub where imagination thrives. Through our "Play with Purpose" initiative, a portion of every visit supports local organizations dedicated to children and families.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Casual Floater supports Adventure Alley’s day-to-day operations, events, and administrative functions. This role provides flexible support across multiple areas, assisting with party booking inquiries, guest check-in, and on-floor coordination, while maintaining the friendly, safe, and organized environment that defines the Adventure Alley experience.

The Floater is a key member of the team who adapts to daily needs, helping to keep things running smoothly during busy play sessions, birthday parties, and private events.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with party booking inquiries, scheduling, and confirmations via email, phone, and in-person communication.
- Support the management team with administrative and customer service tasks, including booking coordination, record-keeping, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of payments, waivers, and event details in accordance with Adventure Alley policies.
- Provide on-floor operational support during play sessions, parties,



and private rentals — ensuring a safe and positive guest experience.
- Set up and tear down party rooms, restock supplies, and assist with basic cleaning and sanitization as needed.
- Help manage guest check-in and check-out processes using the company’s booking and RFID systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure events and operations run seamlessly.
- Follow all company safety, inclusion, and conduct policies, including those under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario).

Qualifications & Experience

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- RECE preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced, family-focused setting.
- Friendly and approachable personality with a team-first mindset.
- Prior experience in events, recreation, hospitality, or childcare is an asset.
- Experience with POS systems or operational tools (e.g., Stripe, booking software, scheduling systems) is considered a strong bonus.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and Jotform preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Requirements

- Must provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) satisfactory to Adventure Alley prior to or shortly after starting employment.
- Must comply with all Adventure Alley policies, including the Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and Health & Safety requirements.

Employment Details





This is a part-time casual position with hours that vary weekly based on operational needs. The role is classified as an employee position (not a contract for services) and is fully governed by the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Ontario). The position does not include group benefits, and all statutory deductions (income tax, CPP, and EI) will be made in accordance with applicable law.
