CNC Programmer/Operator – 5-Axis Router Cynergy Composites – Strathroy, ON

Job Overview

Cynergy Composites is an advanced carbon fiber manufacturing shop in Strathroy, Ontario. We're a small team that values the quality of our craftsmanship and takes pride in the parts we make.

We're hiring a detail-oriented CNC Programmer/Operator to program and operate our Thermwood 5-axis router for machining 3D wooden patterns. You'll be supplied with finished CAD files and expected to use them to produce accurate patterns. We're constantly creating a wide variety of unique parts and patterns, so no two weeks look the same.

Duties

- Program toolpaths from finished CAD files using MasterCam or similar CAM software
- Set up and operate the Thermwood 5-axis router
- Machine 3D wooden patterns to accurate dimensions
- Inspect and verify finished patterns against CAD models




- Design and generate stocks and fixtures for larger patterns as needed
- Maintain the machine work area and perform routine machine upkeep

Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience programming toolpaths in MasterCam or similar CAM software (required)
- Experience operating CNC routers or machining centres; 5-axis experience an asset
- SolidWorks or other general CAD experience an asset
- Solid attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to expand your existing skillset
- Able to work independently and manage machining jobs start to finish
